Inconsistency is the enemy of the spiritual. In order to see a move of God in your life, you need to remain focused on what matters most, Jesus. This is a mindset that must be practiced daily in prayer, worship, and as you move through your everyday life. Consistency is born out of persistence and habit.
Most Christians make the mistake of thinking that they need to make radical changes in order to please God. In my experience, taking a slower but more consistent approach will nurture a stronger relationship with the Lord and help you avoid spiritual burnout.
